About Relaxing
The relaxation reaction is associated with physiological changes that are the opposite of the changes seen with the fight-or-flight reaction.
The relaxation reaction may be evoked utilizing relaxation methods, like audio, video, and meditation.

About Audio and Video Stimuli
The senses of sight and hearing, by their very nature, supply a
favorable means for affecting brainwaves. By presenting audio and
visual stimulation to the brain, the brain will begin to resonate,
‘entrain’, or ‘follow’ at the same frequency as the stimulus.
This effect is generally referred to as brainwave entrainment (BWE),
or habituation, whereby the body and mind adapt to the stimulus.
Auditory or visual stimulation (AVS) may take an assortment of
forms, generating different subjective and clinical effects. Audio
Visual Entrainment, (AVE) involves organized, repetitive stimulation
at a particular frequency for a specific time period, and the frequency
of stimulation is reflected within the electroencephalography EEG.
By increasing the stimulation frequency, cognitive function might be
enhanced.

As ageing happens, the brain loses some of its neural circuitry due to
shrinking and a reduction in the number of dendrites. The power of
neurons to communicate thus decreases as these connections are
reabsorbed by the cell body with age or non-use.
Common symptoms (which may start as early as forty) include
forgetting the names of individuals, and then names of things and
facts, short-term memory deficits, trouble following instructions and
memorizing material.
However, we may slow down or even reverse this process, by
providing multi-sensorial stimulation to our brains.

Wrapping Up
Relaxation is a skill. This means that relaxation is something that may
be learned and practiced, it’s something we’re not necessarily just
born knowing how to do (not everybody knows how to relax), and we
often are not good at it at first.
Each person has the ability to learn how to relax, but not everyone
